“Your silence on your son, Yul’s marital crisis is worrisome” – Actor, Uche Maduagwu tells Pete Edochie

Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has expressed concern over veteran, Pete Edochie’s silence regarding his son, Yul Edochie’s marital crisis.

Yul Edochie shared a video of his second wife, Judy, bragging about God’s love and thanking Him for the safe delivery of her child on his Facebook page.  

Yul shared this video only a few weeks after the passing of his first son with his first wife, Kambilichukwu Yul Edochie. This did not sit well with netizens, who immediately criticized him and Judy.

Weighing in on the issue, Uche Maduagwu said that Pete Edochie’s silence on Yul Edochie’s marital crisis is worrisome.

He urged Pete Edochie to talk to his son and call him to order, stating that it is unheard of in Igbo land for a “first wife to be mourning the passing of her child and the second wife to be celebrating safe delivery of her own child.”

His words,

“Dear Sir PETE, your continuous SILENCE on this matter is unbelievably Worrisome, talk to your Pikin. Never in the History of African Culture, especially in the IGBO Tradition has something like this happened that 1st IYAWO go Dey Mourn her Pikin, and Husband go post video of 2nd IYAWO Jubilating and Thanking God for safe Delivery of her Pikin, is this a JOKE or what?”

As at the time of this report, Pete is yet to respond to Uche.
