Brilliant Arsenal humiliate Man City with Five Star Performance

Arsenal put up a brilliant and impressive performance to secure a well deserved 5-1 win over Man City at the Emirates.

The clash between both teams had been highly anticipated with the odds tilting slightly in favour of City.

Arsenal, however, had a score to settle after their last encounter and soon took the lead two minutes into the game, courtesy of their captain, Martin Odegaard.

While they maintained the one goal lead, the hosts could have been more goals up before the break but for Kai Havertz’s miss.

After the break, Erling Haaland levelled for the visitors, but whatever hope Pep Guardiola’s side had of a comeback was squashed just a minute later by Thomas Partey’s goal, putting The Gunner back in front.

On a good day, City still had to get back in the game, but it wasn’t a good and it simply got worse as three more goals from youngsters  Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, and  Havertz added to the woes of the defending champions who have been below par all season.

The victory put Arsenal six points behind leaders, Liverpool, while Manchester City are fourth on the log.
