Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, has finally responded , after he found himself entwined in an online scandal involving Lagos big girl, Sophia Egbueje and influencer Ama Reginald.
The duo set the internet buzzing, after a leaked audio of Sophia speaking with Amanda Reginald surfaced online.
In the recording, Sophia is heard narrating to a friend how she got linked up with Burna Boy through Ama Reginald.
She initially hesitated to engage with Burna Boy, claiming she doesn’t usually associate with artists because they don’t give her what she wants. However, Ama Reginald convinced her to take Burna seriously, leading to them talking frequently.
Sophia alleged that Burna Boy made numerous promises, including buying her a Lamborghini. Eventually, they met in person, and she followed him home, where they became intimate.
However, after the encounter, Sophia claims Burna started playing games, ghosted her, and failed to fulfill any of his promises.
Amidst the ongoing drama, Burnaboy decided to break silence, by reacting on his Instagram stories.
BurnaBoy has finally responded to Sophia Egbueje by showing off his Lamborghini, even playing one of his songs that goes along with the rumors.
Burna Boy posted a video of himself driving a Ferrari and showing off his expensive designer wristwatch. In a subsequent clip, the award-winning musician posted a video of himself in a private jet. After showing his face for some seconds, Burna Boy panned the camera to show his empty bed in the aircraft.
Burna Boy’s reaction to the Lambo scandal with Sophia Egbueje soon drew the attention of Netizens.
Reacting to it, Nollywood actressSarah Martins, via her Instagram story, admonished ladies never to trust the promise of a horny man. She advised them to bill the men before engaging in transactional sex.
“Promise from a horny man is never to be trusted.
If you must engage in transactional sex, then bill him before opening your legs because the moment he cums, his reasoning will automatically change.
