Two minutes after the break, Haaland put City back in front, before Nicolas Jackson drew level again.
The Citizens thought they had secured a win when Rodri scored in the 86th minute, but Mauricio Pochettino’s men kept at their efforts paid off with a late penalty, which former City player, Cole Palmer, calmly converted, handing City their first draw of the season.
