American R&B superstar Chris Brown is set to make another attempt at securing bail this Wednesday, following his recent remand into custody by a UK court over a serious assault charge. The situation has cast major doubts over his highly anticipated Breezy Bowl XX world tour, which was scheduled to begin on June 8 in the Netherlands.
The 36-year-old singer, known for chart-topping hits like “Loyal,” “Run It,” and “Under the Influence,” is facing a charge of grievous bodily harm stemming from what prosecutors described as an “unprovoked attack” on music producer Abe Diaw at the Tape nightclub in London back in February 2023.

Brown was arrested last week at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester after flying into the UK. He was denied bail during his initial appearance at Manchester Magistrates’ Court, with the judge citing the seriousness of the allegation and potential flight risk.
His next court appearance is set for June 13 at Southwark Crown Court, but his legal team has now scheduled a fresh bail application to be heard on Wednesday morning, as confirmed by court staff.
The outcome of the hearing could determine the fate of the singer’s European tour, which includes multiple UK and Ireland dates. For now, fans remain in suspense, with neither Brown’s camp nor his tour promoters releasing any official update on the status of the concerts.
