Grammy-nominated superstar Davido stunned guests at his Miami white wedding to wife Chioma by gifting her a breathtaking Richard Mille diamond-encrusted wristwatch valued at $300,000. This isn’t his first lavish Richard Mille gift to her, he previously surprised Chioma with the same luxury timepiece along with Hermès Birkin bags for her 2023 birthday
The Miami ceremony, marking the couple’s third wedding celebration, followed a traditional ceremony in Lagos (June 2024) and a civil wedding in March 2023. Reports indicate the affair cost a staggering $3.7 million in cash, a sum Davido revealed during the festivities
The star-studded guest list included Nigeria’s elite such as Aliko Dangote, Governor Ademola Adeleke, and former Senate President Bukola Saraki, along with entertainers like Zlatan Ibile, Adekunle Gold, Teni, Obi Cubana, and others
Emotion peaked when Davido delivered a heartfelt vow:
“You are my love, my peace, my home. You saw the real me, the one the world doesn’t see, and you still chose me.”
He also honored their late son, Ifeanyi, with custom cufflinks worn during the ceremony
To keep the spotlight solely on the couple, guests were asked to observe a strict “black tie and evening gown” dress code and notably, no white or cream attire was allowed.
