Davido’s bodyguard has finally spoken up after his boss, Davido was accused of assaulting him at his wedding.
Davido tied the knot traditionally to his long-time partner, Chioma. As expected, the wedding came with drama as the singer was recently called out for assaulting one of his bodyguards at the ceremony.
A video making rounds online captured the moment Davido furiously slapped his bouncer with his wife, Chioma, standing by. From the clip, it seems like the bouncer was trying to stop a child from reaching out to the singer, and this, unfortunately, earned him a slap from Davido.
The bouncer was left shocked and speechless by his behaviour, and this created a stir online. Calling the singer out, one Benny slammed him for slapping a full-grown man at his wedding as he questioned if abusing people in broad daylight is now cool.
“Dawg. Davido really slapped a full-grown man at his wedding ceremony. Abusing people in broad daylight is now cool?”.
An unbothered Davido addressed the clip, stating that he doesn’t care what people say or think.
“Fuck what people got to say, stay active!”.
Nonetheless, some online users have defended Davido, maintaining that whatever Davido does is right in their sight.

The bodyguard, iamsegxy has however taken to his page to shut down these rumors that Davido hit him. Segxy made it known that Davido didn’t slap him and has never slapped any of his staff.
He described the video as fake, stating that Davido never hit him. He clarified that the little boy appeared from nowhere, and he tried to stop him from meeting the singer, Davido was only cautioning him to allow the boy be.
