Arsenal’s hopes of winning the English premier league have been crushed, no thanks to a devasting 3-0 defeat at home to Brighton, courtesy of goals from Julio Enciso, Deniz Undav and Pervis Estupinan.
The result leaves Arsenal four points behind Manchester City, who defeated Everton earlier on Sunday.
A win for Arsenal would have kept them a point behind City and maybe a flutter on City’s end might have season Arterta’s side clinch the trophy, but as it stands, Pep Guardiola’s side is just one win away from being crowned champions of the 2022/2023 English Premier League season.
