The long-standing friction between Nollywood actresses Doris Ogala and Tonto Dikeh has reached a boiling point following Tonto’s recent spiritual rebranding.
The drama unfolded after Tonto Dikeh announced she was dropping the title “King” from her name to align with her new spiritual journey, requesting to be addressed as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh. Doris Ogala, however, was not buying the transformation, taking to social media to launch a scathing attack on her former friend.
In a series of heated posts, Ogala accused Tonto of living a “false life” and using religion to deceive the public. She went as far as claiming that Tonto has been the hidden hand behind her ongoing legal and personal battles with Pastor Chris Okafor.
“Dey deceive people with nonsense Christianity. GOSSIP LIKE YOU. Fake ass human being,” Ogala wrote. She further alleged, “This bastard has been the one behind my issues with Chris Okafor, fueling it from back.”
The accusations didn’t stop there. Doris claimed that Tonto’s physical appearance had begun to mimic her own and even that of the pastor’s wife, suggesting a spiritual “theft” of destiny.
This latest outburst is part of a rocky history between the two. Last year, Doris accused Tonto of recruiting people to work against her and characterized the actress as “cold and unkind.” Although Doris had previously issued a public apology for her past outbursts—citing personal challenges—this latest development suggests that the olive branch has been firmly withdrawn.
As of now, “Evangelist” Tonto Dikeh has not officially responded to these specific allegations.
