A former lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye, has tendered his resignation to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leading to an increase in the numbers which have left the party in recent times.
He made this public on Thursday via his X handle, as he shared an image of the letter. Stating the reason for his resignation, he cited the party’s inability to rescue Nigeria from what he described as “prevailing political cankerworms”.
