Music executive Don Jazzy has given young Nigerians a fresh reason to pay attention after unveiling a technology scholarship programme offering tuition discounts of up to 100 per cent for selected applicants.
The initiative, known as the Don Jazzy Tech Scholarship 2027, was launched in partnership with TS Academy and is designed to help more young people gain practical digital skills. The courses cover several areas, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software development, data analytics, digital marketing, graphic design and product design.
According to reports, the programme also includes mentorship, practical training, internship opportunities and job placement support. Selected beneficiaries may receive laptops, while some students could also qualify for data support, subject to eligibility and available resources.
Don Jazzy, the founder of Mavin Records, has encouraged young people to take education and skill acquisition seriously. His latest move places attention on an important issue for many Nigerians: gaining employable skills without allowing the cost of training to become a major barrier.
With technology jobs and digital entrepreneurship continuing to attract interest, the programme could provide an opportunity for aspiring professionals who want to build a career beyond traditional employment.
For young Nigerians hoping to enter the tech industry, the key next step is to check the programme’s official application information, eligibility requirements and deadlines before applying.
