Drake Reveals Shocking $124 Million Gambling Loss in Just One Month

Canadian rap superstar Drake has shocked fans by revealing he lost a staggering $124 million through gambling in just the past month.

In a now-viral Instagram Story post, the 38-year-old rapper, real name Aubrey Graham gave fans a rare behind-the-scenes look at his betting habits, disclosing that he wagered $192 million in total, but lost a jaw-dropping $124 million in that time.

“Gotta share the other side of gambling… losses are so fried right now,” Drake wrote, clearly disheartened.

Despite the astronomical loss, the rapper isn’t backing down. In the same breath, he teased a possible comeback, adding:

“I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max. These guys max once a week.”

Drake, who is partnered with Stake.com, a popular crypto-based gambling platform, has become a poster figure for high-stakes online betting. His sessions — often live-streamed — have become must-watch content for fans, birthing viral catchphrases like “Anita Max Wynn,” now turned into merch and even the name of his recent tour that stopped in Perth earlier this year.

Known for backing the wrong side more often than not, the so-called “Drake Curse” has become a meme of its own. His losing bets include: $1.8 million on Sean Strickland at UFC 297, $1.5 million on the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 7 of the 2019 playoffs, $549,000 on Mike Tyson to beat Jake Paul

Now, even after losing over $8 million this month alone, Drake still has $800,000 riding on the NBA Finals, betting on a matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers.

Though some fans admire his fearless betting and wealth flexibility, others have expressed concern, calling the streak “addictive” and “tone-deaf” in a time of global financial hardship.

@livnerys tweeted, “is he not ashamed?”

“I get people liking his music because music is music. But if you admire him as a person and defend him like the Stans we all see online, it’s a tell-tale sign you’re a loser. There are literally NO exceptions to this rule and it’s a useful red flag to keep these people away,” another user wrote.

“What a deadset loser. If Drake keeps this up, he’s going to be broke one day. Should have taken inspo from Shaq or 50 Cent and been smart with his money,” another user commented.

Some users referenced Kendrick Lamar, as one tweeted:

“as kendrick said bro def has gambling problems.”

“Still richer than Kendrick so it’s still a W,” another wrote.

“Kendrick Lamar you have never been wrong about anything. Just early,” another commented.
