Social media activist Verydarkman (VDM) has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of allegedly extorting Wizkid’s close associate, DJ Tunez, and singer Terry Apala after summoning them for questioning over naira abuse allegations.
In a video posted on Instagram, VDM shared an EFCC invitation letter with the recipient’s name blurred out. He claimed that upon arrival at the EFCC office, DJ Tunez and Terry Apala had their phones confiscated and were shown a compromising clip.

The officials allegedly referenced Bobrisky’s recent legal troubles and pressured the entertainers into settling the matter. According to VDM, the two were then driven to a secure location, where they were allegedly coerced into paying between $5,000 and $6,000.
Verydarkman condemned the alleged corruption within the EFCC, saying:
“EFCC is very corrupt; the corruption has eaten deep. Many of them exploit young individuals, and now, they are moving fast to start exploiting celebrities.”
The outspoken critic didn’t stop there. He alleged that while the EFCC chairman may be a good person, some officials within the agency are abusing their power. He dared the EFCC to come after him, stating that he would expose their wrongdoings.
VDM also questioned why the agency had not gone after the “Okoya boys,” who were seen in a viral video abusing the naira.
Encouraging DJ Tunez, Terry Apala, and DJ Osas to speak up, VDM assured them that nothing would happen if they revealed the truth about their experience at the EFCC office.
As at the time of this report, the EFCC has yet to respond to these allegations.
