Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has officially resumed her duty with Senator Abbas Kyari.
On her Instagram page, Abbas shared photos of her and the Senator from their meeting with Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) in Abuja.
She stated that over the years, the institute has significantly strengthened legislative institutions through its rigorous research, legislative support services, training program and policy analysis.

This week @speakerabbas and President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), inaugurated the Governing Council of the institution, earlier this week in Abuja
NILDS, as the research and academic arm of the National Assembly, is a pillar of knowledge, a capacity-building powerhouse, and a think tank dedicated to advancing our legislative processes. NILDS’s mandate was to provide technical and analytical support as well as comprehensive, reliable legislative research to legislators, their aides, committees, and the bureaucracy of the legislative in Nigeria and beyond.
Over the years, the Institute has significantly contributed to strengthening legislative institutions through its rigorous research, legislative support services, training program, and policy analysis.

Popular Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has raised eyebrows online with her recent statement about having ‘backing’ that has kept her from feeling the impact of the economic crisis in the country.
The On Air Personality, who is preparing to start a Christian fellowship, claimed that she and her close circle are unaffected by economic hardships due to their substantial support system.
In her words:
“Whatever the economy is saying, we no dey carry last. We no dey settle for less. Do you know who our father is? We get backing. Who the hell are you talking to, devil?”
