Manchester United had won just once at Old Trafford in the league all season heading into Saturday’s game against Leeds United.
Solskjær’s team had also managed just three league goals at home this season, and for a side that has scored at least three goals in all six away wins so far this season, it’s been shambolic.
With a home record that low, coming up against a tenacious Leeds United side(bearing in mind their fierce rivalry), Manchester United didn’t have much of a chance. Still, as they say, “you are as good as your last game,” and the Red Devils, off the back of a 3-2 victory away against Sheffield United on Wednesday, made good of the above phrase to register an incredible 6-2 victory at the Theater of dreams. They scored six or more goals in a premier league for the first time since winning Arsenal 8-2 in 2011.
Yep, we managed to fit all of that into just two minutes and 25 seconds 🍿😅
