Sean Combs, better known as Diddy, is named 47 times in a newly discovered transcript of a police interview, accusing him of offering “millions” for the murders of rapper Tupac Shakur and Death Row Records boss Suge Knight.
The allegations stem from a secretly recorded 2009 interview with Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is currently awaiting trial for Tupac’s 1996 murder. Prosecutors recently filed a 180-page document that includes the full transcript of Keefe’s recorded statements, shedding light on Diddy’s alleged involvement in the crime.
According to the transcript, Keefe described himself as the “boss” overseeing the killing. When Detective Long of the Las Vegas Police Department asked Keefe if Diddy played a role, Keefe reportedly replied, “Yes.”
He further alleged that Diddy’s animosity toward Suge Knight was very intense. Keefe also stated that Diddy, then known as Puffy, expressed his dislike for record label boss, Suge Knight, allegedly saying: “Ah s**t, I’ll give anything for that dude head.” According to Davis, Diddy said in front of 45 people that the price to kill Knight and Shakur would be “mother-f*****r millions.”
The court filing highlights the allegations as part of an ongoing investigation into a high-profile murder case. Despite the allegations, Diddy has consistently denied any involvement in Tupac’s murder, calling such allegations “absolutely ridiculous” and “pure fiction.”
