Eberechi Eze’s first half goal against Man City was just enough to hand Crystal Palace their first every FA Cup trophy.
Palace had a second goal disallowed after a var check and City has a couple of chances to get back in the game, including a missed penalty by Marmoush as the game turned out to be more exciting than many had envisaged.
As threatening as Pep Guardiola’s men were, heroics from Palace’s keeper, Dean Henderson kept the “underdogs” in the game till the end.
The defeat means City has lost the FA Cup for the second consecutive season and will finish the current 2024/2025 season without a trophy.
