Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has doubled down on his claims regarding a conspiracy to remove the Olubadan of Ibadanland, dismissing the warnings from the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) and other critics.
According to a report by The Nation, Fayose maintained his stance in a follow-up statement, insisting that his information is credible and that he will not be intimidated into silence. He emphasized that his “earlier post” was intended to serve as a preventive alert to safeguard the traditional institution from political interference.
