Speed Darlington’s mother Miss Queen has shared a heart-wrenching video tearfully begging Burnaboy, as a result of her son’s mysterious disappearance.
Speed Darlington had publicly questioned Burna Boy’s Grammy win, insinuating it had something to do with the embattled American musician, Diddy. Speed Darlington credited Diddy for Burna Boy’s swift rise to fame and Grammy win, highlighting Diddy’s pivotal role in his music career.
In his words, “It wasn’t long after Burna Boy posted a photo of him and Diddy that he won a Grammy Award. Burna Boy, don’t be offended, but how many oils did Diddy use on you before they gave you the Grammy Award?”.
Hours after this post, Speed Darlington reportedly went missing. An eyewitness from their neighborhood has claimed to have witnessed the police arresting Akpi, sharing a harrowing video that captures the moment he was handcuffed and led away.
In a heart-wrenching video that has gone viral, Akpi’s mother stepped in to beg on her son’s behalf. With palpable emotion, she recounted how the singer’s gateman had informed her that Burna Boy and his entourage came to their house, allegedly to take Akpi away.
She implored Burna Boy to forgive her son, passionately expressing her belief in Akpi’s unintended harm.
She said in the video.
“Nigerians Please Come and Help Me, My Son Speed Darlington has been Missing For Over 4 Days now, after He Made A Video About Burnaboy and Diddy, Burnaboy came to his house with his 7 Squad and Police and they arrested Akpi.
“Please Nigerians Akpi is my Only Son, Please Nigerians help me and Beg Burnaboy to release My son.”
Although Speed Darlington’s mother seemed shaken by the whole situation, her tears and pleas didn’t seem to touch the hearts of many Nigerians, as they instead made fun of the whole situation.
