Khephren Thuram who plays for Juventus and his older brother Marcus Thuram who plays for Inter Milan were at the center of Saturday’s nerve wrecking Derby d’Italia, scoring for both their team.
Having trailed 2-1 behind the hosts at halftime, the visitors leveled thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu’s brace, before Marcus’ put them ahead with a 76th minutes header.
However, his younger brother, Khephren replied six minutes later with a header as well to keep the game on like terms, much to the delight of their legendary father, Lilian Thuram, who was in the stands.
A draw seemed like a fair bargain with eight minutes to stoppage time, but a Derby d’Italia is never really ovr until it’s over, as 19-year-old Vasilije Adzic struck home a screaming 30-yard strike to win it for the Old Lady.
