The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has dismissed claims that Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso bought 69 nomination forms through its Kano chapter, labeling the allegation pure fiction and political mischief.
Speaking on ARISE Television, PRP National Chairman Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed clarified that the individual who made the claim is completely unknown to the party and lacks any administrative authority. He emphasized that the PRP sells its forms exclusively from Abuja, not Kano, adding that Kwankwaso himself was amused by the fabrication.
Baba-Ahmed also disclosed that Peter Obi and Kwankwaso had previously explored joining the PRP before choosing the NDC ticket. He reassured supporters that the PRP faces no internal crisis and is fully focused on presenting a credible, strategic alternative to Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general elections.
