Kunle Remi and Wife Welcome First Child After Challenging Medical Journey

Nollywood star Kunle Remi and his wife, Tiwi, have joyfully welcomed their first child, a blessing that came after an emotional and physically demanding journey. Their story, marked by an unexpected medical challenge, prolonged bed rest, and 80 days of visits to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), is one of faith, resilience, and triumph.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Kunle Remi shared heartfelt reflections on their path to parenthood. The couple faced an early arrival of their baby, requiring weeks of intensive care, but through it all, they held onto hope and faith.

“From unexpected and unsettling medical discovery to complete bed rest. From juggling demanding work schedules to hopping on flights, both locally and internationally. From an early arrival to the unfolding of God’s perfect timing. From waiting, countless NICU visits, and clinging to God for 11 weeks and 3 days (that is 80 days of faith),” Kunle wrote.

He further expressed gratitude, calling their child a divine blessing and revealing the baby’s name as EEMI OLUWA (The Breath of God).

“This isn’t a podcast. It’s just two people sharing their journey —unfiltered, heartfelt, and full of grace — to encourage someone out there,” he added, alongside an emotional video capturing their experience.
