Veteran Fuji legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1, was nearly struck by a ValueJet aircraft in a shocking incident at the Abuja airport on Wednesday morning.
According to multiple eyewitnesses, the music icon was scheduled to fly from Abuja to Lagos but was allegedly removed from the ValueJet flight by the crew over an undisclosed aviation rule violation.

Furious over the ejection, KWAM 1 reportedly stormed onto the airport tarmac and attempted to block the plane from taking off. In a now-viral video on social media, the singer is seen confronting airport staff as the aircraft begins to taxi coming dangerously close to hitting him.
The dramatic moment has since sparked safety concerns and heavy backlash online, with many questioning how airport security allowed such a close encounter to happen. Critics slammed the airline and airport officials for not halting the plane immediately, calling it a major safety lapse.
As of the time of this report, neither ValueJet nor the airport authorities have issued an official statement regarding the incident.
This alarming encounter has left many shocked, raising serious questions about passenger conduct, airport security, and aviation protocol enforcement in Nigeria.
