Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe Celebrate in Worship as ‘Lisabi’ Earns 10 AMVCA Nominations

It’s a moment of celebration for Nollywood star Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Mo Bimpe, as their movie Lisabi secures an impressive 10 nominations at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

On Sunday, the AMVCA organizers unveiled the highly anticipated nominations list, with Lisabi earning recognition in multiple categories, including Best Indigenous Language (West Africa), Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Sound Design, Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.

Following the announcement, Mo Bimpe took to Twitter to share a heartfelt video featuring herself, Lateef, and their team in a worship session, expressing gratitude for the honor. She also acknowledged the AMVCA organizers in her caption, calling the nominations a “pleasant birthday gift.”

“What a pleasant birthday gift! Thank you, AMVCA, for the nominations, and thank you, Africa. Lisabi to the world!!” she wrote.
