Lagos was thrown into panic on Wednesday night following reports that popular rapper Keshinro Ololade, widely known as Lil Kesh, was attacked by unknown robbers. According to sources, the award-winning star was ambushed and left with a stab wound to his neck and a deep cut on his ear. The attackers were said to have carted away his expensive jewellery reportedly worth millions.
As of now, neither Lil Kesh nor the Lagos State Police Command has issued an official statement on the incident, but the news has already spread like wildfire across social media, sparking fear and concern among fans. Many have flooded his pages with prayers, wishing him a quick recovery while expressing anger over the rising insecurity in the state.

Lil Kesh, who rose to fame under Olamide’s YBNL Nation with hits like Shoki and Efejoku, has always been one of the most talked-about young stars in the Nigerian music scene. Just earlier this year, he was spotted performing at major events, and fans had praised his recent comeback energy after taking a break from the industry some years back.
This shocking incident comes at a time when conversations around celebrity safety in Lagos have been louder than ever. In recent years, a number of entertainers have been victims of robberies and violent attacks, further fueling fears about security lapses in the state. For now, fans are keeping their fingers crossed and praying that Lil Kesh pulls through safely.
