Barely weeks after news of their engagement went public, entrepreneur and mental health nurse, Olayinka “Yinka” Ajakaiye, has announced the end of her relationship with Nollywood actor, Linc Edochie.
Yinka made the announcement via her Instagram page, stating that while she is deeply saddened by the development, she holds no grudge.

“In all things we say thank you, Lord! My relationship with Linc is over. There are no hard feelings at all. I am very sad, but in all things we thank God,” she wrote.
Yinka, the daughter of late Nigerian diplomat Ambassador Andrew Ajakaiye, had just a few weeks earlier been celebrated online for her blossoming romance with Linc, the son of veteran actor Pete Edochie and elder brother to Yul Edochie.
However, it appears the relationship came under pressure following a social media uproar involving fans of May Yul Edochie. Trouble reportedly began after Yinka publicly praised Yul and Judy Austin, which sparked backlash from fans loyal to May. Things took a darker turn after Yinka accused May of allegedly leaking her personal information, including her phone number.
Shortly after, Linc distanced himself from the drama, saying he didn’t support any attack on May and called for peace. He wrote in an Instagram comment:
“I did not endorse the recent attacks in May or post her number. Better to be alone and at peace than in a union filled with landmines.”
According to Yinka, Linc ended their relationship abruptly after a disagreement, going as far as blocking her without prior notice. “I was blocked, and he broke up most embarrassingly. But one thing I am not is a coward,” she said.
The pair have now unfollowed each other on social media, signaling a final end to the union that had once been met with celebration.
Meanwhile, May Yul Edochie appears unbothered by the developments. She continues to share peaceful updates from her UK tour and has been actively promoting her beauty brand, QM Beauty Products.
