Before the break, Roberto Firmino pulled one back to set Jurgen Klopp’s side on course for a flight back.
Nine minutes after the break, Firmino levelled things for the Reds, before Adam Webster scored an own goal to put the home side ahead.
Liverpool didn’t hold on to the lead as Trossard grabbed his third of the day and an equalizer for the visitors in the 83rd minute to gift them a well deserved point.
