Omoni Oboli’s romantic drama ‘Love in Every Word’ has been restored back on YouTube shortly after its abrupt removal due to a copyright claim.
Love in Every Word, a romantic drama produced by Omoni Oboli and penned by Mfon-Abasi Micheal Inyang, explores themes of love, emotional resilience, and the significance of communication in relationships.
Featuring Bam Bam alongside Nollywood star Uzor Arukwe, the film premiered on March 7, 2025, and quickly gained traction, surpassing two million views within its first 24 hours on YouTube.
However, just as its popularity soared, the movie was unexpectedly removed from the platform following a copyright infringement claim by Canadian-based network engineer Chinonso Obiora, also known as Skyberry. Obiora alleged that the film’s storyline bore a strong resemblance to his original work, leading YouTube to take it down while the dispute was reviewed.
The removal of Love in Every Word sparked an uproar on social media, with fans questioning the legitimacy of the copyright claim. Many expressed frustration, with some accusing Obiora of attempting to sabotage Oboli’s success.
However, Omoni responded to these frustrations in a statement reassuring viewers that the movie will be restored soon.
She wrote, “Hey, besties! Thank you for the love and concern. We deeply appreciate your calls, messages, posts, tweets, and comments. I’m sorry I couldn’t respond at the time, but we’re working on it. Love in Every Word will be back!”
Shortly after Oboli’s statement, Love in Every Word was reinstated on YouTube.
Sharing the good news on her Instagram story, Omoni wrote:
“Love in every word is back!”
The details of how the copyright dispute was resolved remains unclear, but the swift return of the film suggests that YouTube may have deemed the claim invalid or that an agreement was reached between the parties involved.
