Manchester Derby: City put three past underwhelming United

Manchester City cake up tops in Sunday’s highly anticipated Manchester Derby, putting three goals past struggling rivals, Manchester United.

City had come into the game off the back of a defeat to Brighton before the International Break and even though United had won their last game before the international break, they were far from impressive.

Phil Foden opened the scoring 18 minutes into the game, before Erling Haaland hit a brace after the break to seal things up for the hosts.

The result pushed Ruben Amorim’s men down to 14th on the table, while Pep Guardiola’s side moved up to 8th.
