Controversial Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has finally confirmed the end of her relationship with her younger partner, Xxssive, putting an end to months of speculation.
In a series of candid Instagram posts shared on Thursday, Nkechi revealed that she has been single since 2023, but chose to speak about it now on her own terms.
“I have been single since last year,” she wrote. “I choose when I want to talk about my life, and the time is now. No bad blood between me and anybody; we are good.”
The actress, who first confirmed her relationship with the 27-year-old Xxssive in September 2022 following her public split from politician Opeyemi Falegan, maintained that their breakup was drama-free. Despite their frequent public displays of affection on social media, she emphasized that their parting was amicable.
Now embracing singlehood, the mother of one jokingly shared her excitement at joining the community of single women. “It feels so good to join single ladies in screaming God when. Una really dey enjoy for singlehood o, why una come dey lament?”
In a video clip also shared on Instagram, Nkechi made it clear that her future relationships will be kept private.
“I won’t be posting my relationship anymore on social media. My next relationship, I won’t be posting my man or doing PDA,” she declared.
