Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has continued to make her presence felt in Saudi Arabian football after finding the net in Al Hilal’s impressive 4-0 away victory over NEOM.
The Nigerian forward scored in the 65th minute, doubling Al Hilal’s advantage and helping the visitors take control of the encounter.
Moroccan forward Ibtissam Jraidi had opened the scoring in the 11th minute before Oshoala added the second after the break. Manar Al-Anzi extended the lead four minutes later, while Jraidi completed her brace in the 88th minute to seal the emphatic victory.
Another Nigerian international, Christy Ucheibe, also featured for Al Hilal in the convincing performance.
For Oshoala, the goal is another reminder of why she remains one of the most recognisable names in African women’s football. The six-time African Women’s Player of the Year has enjoyed an outstanding career, representing top clubs and consistently delivering on the international stage.
Her continued performances abroad are also good news for the Super Falcons, who need their experienced players performing at a high level.
With Al Hilal recording such a convincing result, Nigerian fans will be hoping Oshoala can maintain her scoring form in the club’s upcoming fixtures.
