Portable Tenders Public Apology after slapping pastor

Controversial Nigerian Singer, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus popularly known as Portable has taken to social media to narrate why he slapped the preacher who was preaching in front of his bar weeks back.

Portable was recently caught on tape confronting a pastor who had come to preach at his bar. He slapped the pastor and warned him not to disrupt his business, creating a scene outside the bar.

This led to criticism from fans who urged the pastor to take legal action against Portable, as his behaviour was clearly a case of assault.

In response to the criticism, Portable took to his Instagram page to apologise,   claiming that his sister had been attacked by a man posing to be a pastor, just a few weeks earlier.

Portable explained, “They want to set me up. He was not a man of God, and if he was a man of God, may God forgive me for slapping him. If I knew he was a real man of God, I won’t have slapped him. The way he acted was why I slapped him, I’m a human being and I’m not perfect.

I am an orphan. They have harmed my sister through this same strategy,” he then apologised for his actions
