As speculations that the Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai is planning to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) heightens, El-Rufai has come out to debunk the claim stating that the report are lies.
He has urged members of the populace to disregard any remour about his political affiliation.

However, the former governor who took to his X handle to make this public distanced himself from such report, stressing that he has directed his lawyers to take legal action against those disseminating the false information.
He described the claim as ‘patient lies,’ saying “Please disregard the patent lies and rumours about my political affiliation. I have referred the lead peddlers of the fake news for further action by my lawyers,” El-Rufai stated on his X handle.

Recall that El-Rufai, a member of the ruling party was nominated by President Bola Tinubu, but he never made through the Senate screening. The former Governor has also been under investigation over his eight years administration for alledged corruption.
