Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko, has revealed that his actress wife, Regina Daniels, must undergo rehabilitation to address issues related to drug abuse and safeguard her well-being.
Speaking to newsmen on Sunday, Nwoko explained that the decision is driven by his deep concern for Regina’s health and their family’s future.
“I want her alive and healthy, not just for me, but for our children,” he stated.
According to the lawmaker, recent toxicology reports revealed high levels of harmful substances in the 25-year-old actress’s system. He noted that Regina’s once calm and composed demeanor had recently shifted, with signs of violent outbursts, destructive behavior, and recurring health crises.
“We have two young kids together, and they cannot fight for themselves, so I’m going to fight for them by safeguarding their mother,” he added.
Nwoko emphasized that many lives have been lost to drug overdose, stressing that his move is not punitive but protective.
“If anything happens to her now, what will I tell her children tomorrow?” he asked solemnly.
