Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, has responded to reports claiming she caused a scene at a birthday party in Ghana over the weekend.
The reports alleged that Rita ignored admirers who approached her and dismissed members of the press who tried to capture videos and pictures of her at the event. However, the actress has now set the record straight, calling the claims baseless and false.

A video also found its way to the internet, showing when she handed her champagne glass to her assistant to place on the table, instead of placing it on the same table right in front of her.
The incident, which allegedly took place at the same birthday party in Ghana over the weekend, has sparked mixed reactions on social media. Some critics have labeled the act as unnecessary and over-the-top, while her fans have defended her, arguing that it is not uncommon for celebrities to rely on their assistants for small tasks at public events.
In response to the controversy, Rita Dominic has not directly addressed the specific claim but has dismissed reports of any rude behavior at the event. She took to social media to refute allegations that she snubbed the press and her admirers.
Taking to social media, Rita made it clear that she understands her role as a public figure and the presence of the media at such events. She dismissed the idea that she would deliberately snub the press, stating that it simply doesn’t make sense.
“Duh! A person who does the kind of job I do and is out in a public place would not stop the press from doing their job. That’s lame. Stop making up stories that don’t make sense,” she wrote.
The actress urged the public to avoid spreading unfounded rumors, reinforcing that she remains professional and respectful in public settings.
