Ugandan music sensation Joshua Baraka is bringing together some exciting African music talents on his new project, Recess II, which features Nigerian superstars Tiwa Savage and Mr Eazi.
The project, announced for November 4, 2026, has generated interest among Afrobeats fans because of the collaboration between the East African singer and two established Nigerian artistes.
One of the highlighted releases is “Commando”, featuring Tiwa Savage. The collaboration gives fans an opportunity to hear the Ugandan singer alongside one of Nigeria’s most recognisable female music stars.
Tiwa Savage has built an international reputation through her Afrobeats records and collaborations, while Mr Eazi has continued to connect African sounds with audiences across different markets.
The project also reflects the growing relationship between African music industries, with artistes increasingly working across borders rather than limiting collaborations to their home countries.
For listeners who enjoy the blend of Nigerian and East African sounds, Recess II is certainly one to watch.
The big question is which collaboration will become the project’s biggest fan favourite.
