Toke Makinwa recently treated her little girl on the way to something truly luxe, splurging millions on Labubus for her unborn daughter.
On her Snapchat page, Toke shared a video of the Labubus she had bought for her daughter’s diaper bags. Sparks are enough to start conversations, but even more so when it’s from the heart of a mother-to-be who’s been waiting and praying for this moment;

At forty, Toke opened up to fans about how this pregnancy wasn’t just timing, it was divine timing. In an emotional Instagram video, she described expecting her first child as “the biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever.” She wrote how hesitant she was for years, how she thought God’s timing had forgotten her. But now, seeing her baby bump, she’s praising the faithfulness of God’s plan. She stated, “God is never late, and God can be trusted.”
She’s intentionally not revealing the father’s identity or lean into speculation. Her team says only a few close friends like Tiwa Savage and Annie Idibia knew before she made the big announcement. Why? She’s protecting her peace and controlling her narrative. “This is her journey,” insiders say, “and she’s determined to handle it on her own terms.”
And then, the celebration came, HER baby shower. Glamorous, joyful, and full of love. Close friends like Tiwa Savage, Dorcas Fapson, and Taymesan were there to light up the room. Toke radiated, describing the day as *“blessed beyond measure” counting down with excitement to the moment she’d finally get to hold her little one.
