Ayomikun, the daughter of renowned Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi, recently tied the knot with her partner, Oluwole, in a private ceremony. The wedding, held on March 12, 2025, was an intimate affair attended by close family and friends.
Following the ceremony, Ayomikun took to her official Instagram page to express heartfelt gratitude to her stepfather, Soji Alabi, whom she regards as her true father. In her touching tribute, she described him as “a father indeed” and “a man after my heart,” acknowledging his unwavering love and support throughout her life.

She wrote, “A father indeed !!! A man very much After my heart ❤️ A man of timber and caliber. A man whose love has been my pillar. I type this with tears in my eyes because where do I start from ? This man loves me beyond words, I can’t begin to explain or express it. I love you with every bone in my body and every flesh on my skin.
“Thank you for being the best father to ever father me ❤️ from childhood up until the day you gave my hands in marriage to Olu. And even right now you continue to father me. May you reap the reward of every labour. May you reap the fruits of coming from Lagos to iwo every weekend. May your reap fruits of always being there on my birthdays. OLUSOJI MI OWON. I love you baami.”
This public appreciation comes amid past controversies surrounding Ayomikun’s paternity. In November 2020, a man claiming to be her biological father alleged that Tope Alabi had denied him access to Ayomikun for 22 years. However, Ayomikun has consistently maintained that Soji Alabi is the only father she has ever known, reinforcing this sentiment in her recent post.
The wedding ceremony was kept private, with limited media coverage. Despite the low-key nature of the event, snippets shared online showcased joyous moments, including Ayomikun being walked down the aisle by Soji Alabi.
