Tottenham have relieved Ange Postecoglou of his job as the club’s coach, some 16 days after leading them to a historic Europa League success.

Postecoglou secured a narrow 1-0 win over Manchester United in last month’s Europa League final in Bilbao to bring home Spurs’ first major silverware in 17 years.
Tottenham finished fifth in Postecoglou’s first season in charge but he had noted thst hid wins a trophy in his second season and he kept his word.

But, that wasn’t enough to save the Australian man’s job whose side finished 17th in the Premier League last season after losing 22 out of 38 matches.
The club announced his sack in a statement on Friday, saying, the decision became necessary after a “review of performances”.
Following a review of performances and after significant reflection, the Club can announce that Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties.
