It seems all isn’t going to be well between Nollywood actress Priscilla Ojo and popular influencer Beauty Goddess soon, as online sleuths recently noticed that Priscilla has unfollowed Beauty Goddess on Instagram. The move has sparked fresh conversations about the state of their friendship, especially after Beauty’s absence from Priscilla’s glamorous traditional wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux in Lagos over the weekend.
The wedding was the talk of the town, drawing in celebrities, socialites, and BBNaija stars. But many fans were quick to observe that Beauty Goddess, whose real name is John Merry, was nowhere in sight. Her absence didn’t go unnoticed, and she quickly became a trending topic online, with many questioning why a close associate of Priscilla would miss such a major event.

In response to the backlash, Beauty Goddess explained in a video that she had booked a vacation before the wedding date and wasn’t able to cancel her “expensive flight.” According to her, she reached out to Priscilla personally to explain the situation.
However, what really stirred the hornet’s nest was her bold statement about the nature of their relationship. She went on to question why people were dragging her, saying: “You guys are doing the most. I’m happy for her, but you can’t find three videos of us hanging out. No, you can’t. How are we friends?”
Her statement came across to many as dismissive, and rather than cool down the situation, it added more fuel to the fire. On social media, users didn’t hold back, calling her out for what they perceived as unnecessary shade and insensitivity.
One Instagram user, Dolapo, didn’t mince words, saying, “The way the girl set her extra-large mouth in front of the camera saying nonsense is irritating.” Another, Blessy Brimez, added, “It’s fine she didn’t go to the wedding; why set a ring light to vomit trash? I hope Priscilla didn’t just unfollow her; I hope she blocked her too.”
While Beauty Goddess still follows Priscilla on Instagram, many speculate that the unfollow from Priscilla is a loud statement in itself. Whether it’s a permanent falling-out or a temporary reaction to all the drama remains to be seen.

Netizens React:
Blessy Brimez stated, “It’s fine she didn’t go to the wedding; why set a ring light to vomit trash? People should really know when to keep shut. I hope Priscilla didn’t just unfollow her; I hope she blocked, too”.
Walter wrote, “Wait ooooo. What if she wasn’t invited????? Nobody is thinking in that direction just because you all are being defensive of Priscy. What happened to the “If you aren’t invited, don’t attend” slogan?”.
Dennis wrote, “E reach to unfollow.Give her that same energy.BG is becoming proud”.
