Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott both got on the score sheet at Anfield as Liverpool secured a 2-1 win over 10 man Lille to scale through to the Last 16 of the Champions League.
Salah opened the scoring in the 34th minute, giving The Reds the advantage at half time.
Not long after replay, the visitors got reduced to 10 men after Aissa Mandi got sent off following a second yellow card for a foul on Luis Diaz, less than five minutes later, Jonathan David equalized for the French side.
Five minutes after the equalizer, Elliot put Arne Slot’s men back in front for what would turn out to be Liverpool’s seventh win as they continue they perfect record in the competition.
