Brazilian star, Vinicius Junior lit up the Santiago Bernabeu as his hat-trick helped Real Madrid complete a signature comeback against Borussia Dortmund.
Donyell Malen and Jamie Gittens gave Dortmund a 2-0 lead at half time and the German side seemed poised to end the defending champions 14 game unbeaten home run.
In the 60th minute, Antonio Rudiger, pulled one back for the Spanish giants and that marked the beginning of the end for the visitors, as Vinicius Junior made it 2, three minutes later and went on to complete a hat-trick.
Lucas Vazquez, who captained the team also got on the score sheet as Carlo Ancelotti’s side secured a 5-2 win over Dortmund.
It was yet another stellar performance for Vini who went home with the MVP award and is in pole position for this year’s Ballon d’Or award scheduled for later this month.
