Veteran Nigerian actor Segun Arinze has shared his opinion about the rumored homosexuality practiced in the Nollywood industry.
During an interview with Arise TV, the 59-year-old actor clearly stated that he is not involved in homosexual activities and that individuals who “bend over are adults and they have a right to do whatever they want to do”.
Arinze revealed that he chooses to live a simple life, prioritising his business and his professionalism.
“I do not bend over, so I cannot react to it. Well if they do bend over, they should keep bending. That is their problem. They are adults and they have a right to do whatever they want to do. It is none of my business,” he said.
“I am not going to concern myself with that. I do not like those lash backs, I like living my life straightforward, doing my business and being a professional that I am.”
Segun Arinze’s contributions to the Nigerian film industry includes over 250 movie roles, numerous awards, and serving as the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria at one time.
