Big love across continents! While Afrobeats superstar Davido and his beautiful bride Chioma tied the knot in a lavish white wedding in Miami, one very surprised fan sent their heartfelt blessings all the way from the US.
American rapper Young Thug, unable to make the trip himself, hopped on FaceTime to congratulate the newlyweds live and a screen recording of the moment later popped up online.
Bits of the FaceTime video found their way to social media, where Davido’s camp shared the clip with “Shopping Spree” (his collab with Chris Brown and Young Thug) playing in the background.
Though Young Thug couldn’t be there in person, his presence and his voice added extra shine to the ceremony. In the video, the rapper could be seen smiling and waving at the couple.
Young Thug, who is still serving a ban from public appearances following his release from jail on October 31, 2024, after pleading no contest in his RICO case, didn’t make it to the wedding but FaceTimed with the couple on their wedding day to congratulate them.
