Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ is my song of the year – Rihanna
Rihanna has set the internet buzzing since she named Nigerian singer, Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ to be her song of the year.
During her Fenty x Puma collaboration launch event, Rihanna went from talking about her newest sneaker, “Creeper Phatty,” to her growing beautiful family with A$AP Rocky. Then in a brief chat with Complex on the “green” carpet to discuss her thoughts on whose album would be considered ‘Album of the Year.’ While pondering on the question, debating if she was an album girl or a girl that streams singles, the Fenty billionaire responded with ‘Unavailable’ by Davido as the song she has on repeat along with ‘Mnike’ by Tyler ICU and Tumelo.za.
She said …
“Album of the year? Am I an album girl? Or am I a streaming single girl?
“‘Unavailable’ [by Davido featuring Musa Keys] on repeat. That and ‘Mnike’ [by Tyler ICU and Tumelo] are my song of the year.”
Rihanna was also caught on cam dancing, joining the Unavailable challenge as it played at the event.
Davido soon noticed the global icon supporting his music and responded via X: “I made a pandemic” and “My RI RI”.
