EPL: Man City put four past Liverpool

Manchester City marked their return from the international break with an emphatic 4-1 win over Liverpool, to keep the pressure on Arsenal. 

City was without a striker, Erling Haaland, but that didn’t stop City from dismantling Liverpool at the Etihad, despite coming from behind.

Mo Salah gave the visitors the lead 17 minutes into the game before Alvarez got an equalizer in the 27th minute. 

After the break, Kevin de Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan, and Jack Grealish all got on the scoresheet.

ARSENAL 4 – 1 LEEDS 

Meanwhile, Mikel Arterta’s men have continued to show that they have their eyes stuck on winning the league, as they maintained their 8-point lead over City with a 4-1 win over relegation-threatened Leeds United.

Gabriel Jesus bagged a brace, his first goal while  While and Xhaka also got on the scoresheet, with Rasmus Kristensen, pulling a consolidation for Leeds.
