Ganduje Ward Denounces Ganduje’s Suspension, Fires Imposters

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Executive Committee members in Ganduje Ward, Dawakin Tofa local government area, Kano state, have labelled those forces that declared the “suspension” of APC national chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Sunday as impostors.

This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday and jointly signed by the chairman and secretary of Ganduje ward in Dawakin, Ahmed Muhammed Ganduje and Usaini Jibrin respectively.

The party pointed out that the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) government in Kano state had assembled yet another group of non-APC members who had announced the alleged suspension following an earlier attempt to suspend Ganduje that had failed.

It added that as authentic executive members, no new election was conducted by the state or national body of the APC to herald a fresh leadership.

“To the best of our knowledge, as executive members of Ganduje ward of the APC, there was no new election of new leadership of our party. We remain the same executive of the ward,” the statement added.

It said that because the sponsored group drafted a list of non-existent party officials on a forged or uncertified headed paper, they were unable to complete their assignment correctly.

“To worsen their situation, leader of the group who announced the purported suspension is an NNPP member who contested but lost the councilorship election in Ganduje ward”, the statement said.

Therefore, the executive members urged the party’s national leadership and security authorities to assist in the group’s arrest and impersonation prosecution. They also exhorted party members to ignore misinformation like this that tries to disturb the party’s tranquilly.
