Happie Boys Remanded In Prison in Cyprus

Former security guards cum internet sensations, Happie Boys have reportedly been arrested and remanded in prison in Cyprus.

An impeccable source told Igbere TV that they were arrested and charged with an undisclosed offense, leading to their detention in an underground prison facility by authorities.

According to Igbere TV, they were arraigned in court and charged with an undisclosed offence yesterday and thereafter remanded in prison.

Happie Boys gained fame initially when they were dismissed from their security guard roles in Nigeria for dancing while on duty at a fast-food restaurant.

Following their viral job loss, they were granted scholarships to pursue their education in Cyprus, courtesy of a prominent religious figure, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM).

However, their fortunes took a downturn when a video surfaced online in which the two young men accused the pastor of abandoning them in Cyprus.

The pastor clarified that he had advised them to return to Nigeria due to the economic challenges caused by fluctuations in exchange rates, but they instead called out the Apostle and kept laying accusations against him.
