“Hope the ‘Obidiots’ believe now that Lagos belongs to the Yorubas”- MC Oluomo brags about Lagos election violence

Media personality and acclaimed Lagos state’s most illustrious thug agbero, MC Oluomo has directed a message towards the Obidients, known to be staunch supporters of the Labour Party, following the gubernatorial election held on Saturday, 18th March.

MC  Oluomo referred to Obidients as “idiots”, and questioned whether they now believe that Lagos belongs to the Yoruba people.

Furthermore, he stated that the Obidients are currently witnessing the repercussions of considering Lagos as a territory that belongs to no particular ethnic group.

Sharing a Yoruba music video on Instagram, he wrote:

“Hope the Obidiots believes now that Lagos belongs to Yoruba and they’re now facing the consequences of Lagos being no man’s land”.

This is coming after the former NURTW issued a threat to the people of Southeast supporting the opposition to stay indoors on election day.

In the viral video, MC Oluomo charged Yorubas to go out to vote early on Saturday, adding that “we have begged them. If they don’t want to vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them, Iya Chukwudi, if you don’t want to vote for us, sit down at home. Sit down at home.”

Criticised by citizens who also called for his arrest and prosecution for threatening to disenfranchise citizens from exercising their civic right, MC Oluomo in another video on Friday admitted he made the controversial statement but it was a joke.

“I was only joking ; I am not threatening any Igbo person,” MC Oluomo said. “I was discussing with my sister, Iya Chukwudi. I was referring to her that Iya Chukwudi, if you are not voting for me, sit down at home and the next thing I saw was the video on social media.”

In a recent update, King Westt, son of MC Oluomo has slammed oppositions amid a glimpse of hope that Governor Sanwo-Olu will get re-elected in the just-concluded gubernatorial elections.

Taking to his Instagram stories, King Westt congratulated Sanwo-Olu as he took a swipe at oppositions, and also slammed the popular singer, Peter Okoye alias Mr P.

“Sanwo Olu – Sanwo Eko – If you no gree dey go benin… Congratulations my governor Lagos no go spoil.”

“Some people no just get sense. Mr P fix your career and leave my dad alone. He isn’t the solution to your family problem,”he wrote.
