“I want a Fist Battle, not a Rap Battle”- Burnaboy clears Shatta Wale after he accepted his Challenge

Shatta Wale hurriedly took up Burnaboy’s challenge, thinking it was a music contest. But the Odogwu crooner has cleared him, letting him know that he challenged him to a battle of strength, a fistfight, and not a rap battle like he thought.

Shatta Wale created a buzz a few days ago, after he called our Nigerian entertainers, alleging that they don’t support Ghanian artistes. He used a lot of cuss words while making his claims and this triggered several reactions on the net, with different Nigerian artistes having a thing or two to say.

However, Nigeria’s Burnaboy finally weighed in on the entire buzz and challenged Wale to a one-on-one fight to settle whatever personal problems he has with him.

Burnaboy weighed in; “Dem dey play South African, American and UK music also for Ghana but na Nigeria own be issue. Something fishy is smelling.

“Therefore, if Shatta or anyone has a personal problem with me, I’m still open to fight 1 on 1 and squash it after; the same way I’ve always been. Nobody will ruin the unity we continuously try to build for a stronger and better Africa.”

Shatta Wale immediately accepted Burnaboy’s challenge and even picked Accra as the venue for the supposed rap battle.

Wale responded,  “ Oh Burna Boy says he want a 1 on 1, let’s do this Accra sports stadium. I just call shot, If you be man don’t come sing your song let’s do freestyle !!!

Ghana – Nigeria I’m ready for this, I double dare you Burnaboy. Infact I 10x dare you this no be fight just lyrical like you go stop singing”.

But in a recent post, Burna has cleared Shatta Wale and the public at large that his challenge to Wale is a fistfight like real men do, and not a rap battle.

Burnaboy disclosed that he has been wanting to set this up since January last year and finally, the opportunity has presented itself. He stated that he wants Shatta Wale to consider the challenge an easy way out because he could easily make his life outside Ghana a living hell, whilst noting that he is richer than all his Godfathers combined.

Burna wrote;

“This guy thinks I have time this ain’t 8mile no be rap battle, it’s a fist battle the type real men do.

“We can do it anywhere you want behind closed doors or in the stadium for everyone to see. Stop acting like you don’t know I’ve been trying to set this up since January last year.

Consider this an easy way out for you because I could easily make your life a living hell anywhere you go outside Ghana. You know I have money than all your Godfathers combined”.
